On May 16th, 2022, Dominique and Nick met for their first date at Oggies Italian Restaurant. What was supposed to be a simple dinner and drinks quickly turned into hours of conversation. Between laughter, shared stories, and lingering glances across the table, they began discovering something undeniable — a connection that felt both effortless and meant to be.Two Pisces, both born in March, they quickly realized their similarities ran deeper than coincidence. They shared a passion for food, a love for hip hop music, and an appreciation for meaningful conversation. That first night wasn’t just about learning surface details — it was about recognizing pieces of themselves in each other.As their love grew, so did their experiences together. They traveled both in and out of the country, collecting memories in new cities and unfamiliar places, strengthening their bond with every adventure. Through joy and celebration, they built a life rooted in partnership.But love is not only defined by the good times — it is proven in the hard ones.In 2023, Dominique faced brain surgery. Nick stood beside her with unwavering strength, love, and faith. Their relationship deepened in that season, anchored in commitment and resilience.In 2025, they endured the heartbreaking loss of a child through a missed miscarriage — a grief that reshaped them, but did not break them. Together, they mourned. Together, they healed. Together, they held on.Beyond the two of them, they blended their worlds — merging a beautiful combination of six children into one family. What they created was more than a household; it became a team, a tribe, a home filled with personality, love, music, and food.Their story is one of passion, partnership, faith, resilience, and friendship. It’s late-night conversations, playlists playing in the background, kitchen moments over shared meals, airport departures and arrivals, hospital rooms and healing, tears and triumphs.Dominique and Nick’s love story isn’t just about the day they met — it’s about every day they chose each other after.And they’re still choosing each other.
